I cannot make the Kunstler script text and a few others to bold, the dropdown menu is greyed out. In Word yo ucannot do it and cannot figure out why in Photoshop. What can I do to make this bold?

You need to toggle the character pallete (icon to RHS side of the create
waqrped text icon) The first "T" will make it bold.

Depending on where you intend to use the file, it may not be a good idea to use faux bold in a font which does not have a true bold version.

Actually just use a stroke from the effects menu and put it to the outside.

But if you have the whole font family Kuenstler Script is the regular weight, Kuenstler Medium contains the bold weight.
